WhereIsTheNote.org is a resource center that helps homeowners in all states for FREE by providing valuable info about their legal rights against the Big Banks.  The information on this site is not to be construed as legal advice, and does not take the place of hiring a competent Real Estate Attorney.  This site is designed to educate homeowners and shed some light on how they can save their homes from foreclosure.  Regardless if a homeowner hires an attorney or not, they have more leverage against their “lender” if they discover they are of victim of mortgage fraud.  When you find out your lender has broken the law, and you let them know you will retain an attorney, they don’t want to go to court, because they know it will cost them much more then if they just settled with you.  Any complaints against the bank must have legal merit, so you just can’t sue them for the fun of it…With that said, this site should help you understand some of the basic foreclosure defenses at hand.

For some people, Mortgage Litigation against their bank is the best way to go IF they have any causes of action. For others, they may be better off doing a short-sale, cash-for-keys, or challenging the validity of the note in Bankruptcy Court. Mortgage litigation is a complex process that requires the expertise of an experienced legal team, and not everyone is a good candidate for litigation. Some would argue you would have a better chance suing a small country then trying to go toe-to-toe against one of the Big Banks. As a homeowner, you have rights! Maybe it’s time for the banks to start answering your questions…One question that comes to mind is, “Where is the Note?”  WhereIsTheNote.org is not a law firm and does not give legal advice or practice law. Our goal is to simply provide you with up-to-date mortgage litigation news.
